Peru: PM coordinates progress on national anti-drug policy

Peruvian Prime Minister Vicente Zeballos on Tuesday held a meeting with officials to coordinate the progress on the State policy for the eradication of production, trafficking, and illegal consumption of drugs.

Representatives of the National Commission for Development and Life without Drugs (Devida), National Coca Company (Enaco), National Superintendence of Customs and Tax Administration (Sunat), as well as the National Fund for the Financing of State Entrepreneurial Activities (Fonafe) participated in the meeting.

The event also saw the participation of officials from the Ministries of Interior, Agriculture, and the Joint Command of the Armed Forces.

The cabinet chief also held a meeting with the chairwoman of the non-profit Asociacion de AFP (Association of Pension Fund Administrators) Giovanna Priale to strengthen ties and work together on pension coverage.
