Peru: Over 84.97 million COVID-19 vaccine doses applied

84,980,767 doses of the vaccine against COVID-19 have been so far administered in Peru, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) has reported.

Out of that total, 25,743,314 were given as second dose, thus accounting for 90.08% of the target population.
Within this framework, 20,852,181 citizens have been vaccinated with a third dose.

They also account for 72.96% of the general population, the leading government authority in the health sector said in its daily report.

Similarly, 5,394,925 people have received the fourth dose.
