83,663,950 doses of the vaccine against COVID-19 have been so far administered in Peru, the
Ministry of Health (Minsa) has reported.
Out of that total, 28,203,284 were given as second dose, thus accounting for 86.0% of the target population.
Within this framework, 20,647,039 citizens have been vaccinated with a third dose.
They also account for 72.2% of the general population, the leading government authority in the health sector said in its daily report.
Similarly, 4,954,130 people have received the fourth dose.
