Peru: Over 72.7 million COVID-19 vaccine doses applied

72,817,874 doses of the vaccine against COVID-19 have been so far administered in Peru, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) has reported.

Out of that total, 27,010,402 were given as second dose, thus accounting for 82.4% of the target population.
Within this framework, 16,352,010 citizens have been vaccinated with a third dose.

They also account for 57.2% of the general population, the leading government authority in the health sector said in its daily report.

Similarly, 261,427 people have received the fourth dose.
