Peru: Over 65.3 million COVID-19 vaccine doses applied

65,429,813 doses of the vaccine against COVID-19 have been so far administered in Peru, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) has reported.

Out of that total, 25,462,336 were given as second dose, thus accounting for 77.67% of the target population.
Within this framework, 11,590,428 citizens have been vaccinated with a booster dose.

They also account for 35.36% of the general population, the leading government authority in the health sector said in its daily report.
