Peru: Over 27 million COVID-19 vaccine doses applied

Peru has so far administered 27,245,048 doses of the vaccine against coronavirus, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported on Saturday evening.

Of that total mentioned, 16,033,649 correspond to the first dose and 11,211,399 to the second dose.

"That number represents 40% of the target population," Minsa said in its daily report.

The information above is applicable as of October 2 at 8:02 p.m. (local time) and was published on the COVID-19 Vaccination Situation Room.

According to Minsa, the target population in Peru consists of men and women over 12 years of age, that is 28,024,250 people.
