Peru: Over 26 million COVID-19 vaccine doses applied

Peru has so far administered 26,779,567 doses of the vaccine against coronavirus, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported on Friday.

Of that total mentioned, 15,871,503 correspond to the first dose and 10,908,064 to the second dose.

"That number represents 39% of the target population," Minsa said in its daily report.

The information above is applicable as of October 1 at 6:01 p.m. (local time) and was published on the COVID-19 Vaccination Situation Room.

According to Minsa, the target population in Peru consists of men and women over 12 years of age, that is 28,024,250 people.
