Peru has so far administered 26,493,540 doses of the vaccine against coronavirus, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported on Thursday.

Of that total mentioned, 15,764,162 correspond to the first dose and 10,729,378 to the second dose.

"That number represents 38% of the target population," Minsa said in its daily report.

The information above is applicable as of September 30 at 6:03 p.m. (local time) and was published on the COVID-19 Vaccination Situation Room.

According to Minsa, the target population in Peru consists of men and women over 12 years of age, that is 28,024,250 people.
