Peru: Over 25 million COVID-19 vaccine doses applied

Peru has so far administered 25,912,376 doses of the vaccine against coronavirus, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported on Tuesday.

Of that total mentioned, 15,540,027 correspond to the first dose and 10,372,349 to the second dose.

"That number represents 37% of the target population," Minsa said in its daily report.

The information above is applicable as of September 28 at 6:01 p.m. (local time) and was published on the COVID-19 Vaccination Situation Room.

According to Minsa, the target population in Peru consists of men and women over 12 years of age, that is 28,024,250 people.
