Peruvian authorities reportedly reopened the passage of vehicles and people across a border bridge in Peru-Ecuador border region in response to democracy restoration and after Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa was eventually released.
Cars, traders and tourists began crowding the streets normally around midnight.
Military personnel were sent to strategic points across Huaquillas, Ecuador to patrol the streets.
Trade in Aguas Verdes international bridge is getting back to normal, Andina news agency correspondent reported.
On Thursday, Peruvian president ordered the immediate closure of the nation's border with Ecuador, where unrest erupted with troops taking control of the main airport.
Trade on the northern border was halted until President Correa's authority was duly restored and resolved.
