Peru: New State Ministers sworn in

The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte has administered the oath of office to six State Ministers, in a ceremony held at the Government Palace.

On the occasion, the Head of State swore in Walter Ortiz Acosta as Interior Minister. He replaces Victor Torres in the post.

For his part, Morgan Niccolo Quero Gaime was sworn in as the new Minister of Education. He replaces Miriam Ponce Vertiz.

Moreover, Mrs. Boluarte administered the oath of office to Angel Manero Campos, who has become the new Minister of Agrarian Development and Irrigation. He replaces Jennifer Contreras Alvarez in this position.

Subsequently, Sergio Gonzalez Guerrero was sworn in as new Minister of Production. He replaces Ana Maria Choquehuanca.

Afterwards, Elizabeth Galdo Marin was sworn in as new Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism. She succeeds Juan Carlos Mathews in office.

Finally, Angela Teresa Hernandez Cajo was sworn in as the new Minister of Women and Vulnerable Populations. She replaces Nancy Tolentino Gamarra.

The ceremony took place on Monday evening at the Government Palace in Lima.
