Peru names new ambassador to Republic of Fiji

The Government of Peru has appointed Vitaliano Gaspar Gallardo Valencia as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Peru to the Republic of Fiji.

The diplomat will fulfill said role while performing his duties as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Peru to Australia, with residency in Canberra.

The corresponding credentials and full powers shall be issued to Gallardo Valencia so that he can fulfill his functions in the Republic of Fiji.

The designation was made official via Supreme Resolution Nº 048-2022-RE, published on Thursday in the Official Gazette El Peruano.

The document was signed by the President of the Republic Pedro Castillo and Foreign Affairs Minister Cesar Landa.
