The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has appointed new Peruvian ambassadors to Georgia and Albania.

Supreme Resolution 058-2023-RE, which was published on Friday in the Official Gazette El Peruano, has designated Cesar Augusto De las Casas Diaz as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Peru to Georgia.

It should be noted that the Diplomatic Service member also serves as Peruvian Ambassador to Turkey.

Accordingly, De las Casas will perform diplomatic mission functions as ambassador to both countries simultaneously.

Likewise, the government agency has appointed Javier Raul Yepez Verdeguer as Peruvian Ambassador to the Republic of Albania.

The appointment was made official via Supreme Resolution 059-2023-RE, which was also published today in the country's official gazette.

These duties will be performed in parallel with his work as Ambassador of Peru to Greece.

Both resolutions bear the signatures of the President of the Republic Dina Boluarte and Foreign Affairs Minister Ana Cecilia Gervasi.
