Peruvian Ministers Victor Zamora (Health) and Carlos Lozada (Transport and Communications) on Friday participated in the presentation of the Temporary Care and Isolation Center for COVID-19 patients set up inside Carlos Lanfranco La Hoz Hospital facilities in Lima's Puente Piedra district.
Minister Zamora explained that the area will house 40 hospital beds, each of them with autonomous access to oxygen.
In addition, it will rely on modern medical equipment such as 14 vital sign monitors, 18 pulse oximeters, 7 laryngoscopes, 28 digital blood pressure monitors, digital ultrasound and X-ray equipment, among others. The units will contribute to providing specialized care to the sick.
He specified that more than S/43.6 million (above US$12.37 million) was allocated for the project to acquire medical equipment and temporary infrastructure.
