Peruvian Leader Pedro Pablo Kuczynski and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe presided over the signing ceremony for bilateral agreements at the Golden Hall in Lima-based Government Palace.
One of the agreements is expected to enhance cooperation between the two nations to implement joint projects on information and communication technology fields.
Another deal was signed by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry and Peru’s Energy and Mines Ministry, led by Gonzalo Tamayo.
Furthermore, the two Leaders signed a joint statement regarding specific aspects of the bilateral relationship: trade, politics, economy, cooperation at international forums, and exchange of citizens.
The gathering saw the presence of both countries' ministers responsible for different sectors.
Shinzo Abe arrived in the Inca nation to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Forum 2016 taking place in Lima this week.
