As part of an inter-institutional strategic alliance, the
Ministry of Health (Minsa) will coordinate the implementation of joint activities with the Public Ministry to ensure citizen monitoring of the vaccination process against COVID-19 in the country.
Furthermore, she answered the queries and questions from participants.
The event was organized by
Minsa's Transparency and Anti-Corruption Unit (Otrans), with the participation of over 150 prosecutors and administrative staff from Prosecutor's Offices Specialized in Corruption Offenses Committed by Public Officials in regions and provinces across the country.
For his part, Luis Huaman, General Director of Strategic Interventions in Public Health of the Ministry of Health, reported that the vaccination process is conducted with complete transparency, high professional commitment, and vocation of service, by licensed nurses and health workers.
Thus, prosecutors got closely acquainted with the protocol following the current health regulations on the vaccination against COVID-19.
Moreover, they promised to inform Minsa on the events that may be reported at vaccination centers, with the aim of taking action.
The event included the participation of Otrans' Executive Director Mario Camacho; the National Coordinator of Prosecutor's Offices Specialized in Corruption Offenses Committed by Public Officials, Senior Prosecutor Omar Tello Rosales; and Secretary of Public Integrity of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers Eloy Munive.
