on Tuesday confirmed the presence of two new cases of monkeypox in Peru, specifying that both persons are related to the initial patient registered in Peru.
It clarified that these patients are stable and isolated at their homes, under permanent surveillance.
Furthermore, Minsa reaffirmed that health establishments in the country are alert to the arrival of this disease.
"If you have symptoms of monkeypox, you must go to the health facility (located) closest to your place of residence or wherever you are. You can also call 113 option 6," the statement concluded.
