More than one million medicine tablets for COVID-19 patients and tens of thousands of personal protective equipment (PPE) units are donated to the Health Ministry by private companies with the aim of supporting the fight against the pandemic.
"The donations we receive to protect the lives of our health heroes are very important because they are scarce in the world market. They allow my colleagues to continue doing their jobs and saving lives,"
Health Minister Victor Zamora underlined.
Within this framework, the government official appreciated that fact that the private sector is present by providing medicines to the Ministry, adding that these are essential for stopping the impact of the disease.
