Peru: Government signs supply agreement with Moderna

The Ministry of Health and Moderna laboratory have signed a supply agreement for 20 million doses against COVID-19, the Peruvian Government has announced.

In this sense, the vaccines will be delivered during the first quarter of 2022.

This accord is the outcome of the close and continuous dialogue held between Moderna and the Health Ministry.

These negotiations were supported by the Foreign Affairs Ministry, in accordance with the instructions given by President of the Republic Pedro Castillo.

This purchase ensures the protection of 10 million Peruvians within the framework of the National Vaccination Plan.

Likewise, it reflects the Peruvian Government's commitment to ensuring the supply of vaccines against COVID-19 in order to put an end to the pandemic.
