The Government of Peru has extended the country's health emergency for 90 days, starting June 10, pursuant to
Supreme Decree No. 008-2020-SA, to meet the need to continue implementing prevention and control measures in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 throughout the national territory.
During said period, the acquisition of goods and services will be given the conditions demanded by the pandemic.
In addition, the document provides the list of goods and services required during the extension of the health emergency, which is contained in the lists of "Goods or services required for the COVID-19 health emergency activities."
Similarly, the contracts and acquisitions carried out under this regulation and under Supreme Decrees No. 008-2020-SA, No. 010-2020-SA, and No. 011-2020-SA must be used exclusively for the purposes established by said regulations, under responsibility.
Final report
At the end of the extension period, the authorities responsible for implementing the Action Plan must report on the activities and resources spent, as well as on the achieved results.
