Peru: Government appoints ambassador to New Zealand

The Government has appointed diplomat Jose Emilio Bustinza Soto as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Peru to New Zealand.

The designation was made official via Supreme Resolution No. 002-2022-RE, published in the Official Gazette El Peruano.

The corresponding credential letters and full powers will be issued to Bustinza Soto. The date on which he will take up duties is to be set via ministerial resolution.

In other supreme resolutions, the Executive Branch announced the termination of services of Librado Augusto Orozco Zapata as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to El Salvador and Belize.

Likewise, the Peruvian Government terminated the functions of Ardeshir BK Dubash as ad-honorem Consul of Peru to the city of Mumbai, Republic of India.

Furthermore, it appointed Juan Antonio Prieto Sedo as Consul General of Peru to Rio de Janeiro, Federative Republic of Brazil.

Lastly, Ambassador Miguel Julian Palomino de la Gala will be retired on February 17, the day of his 70th birthday.
