Peru's Development and Social Inclusion Minister Paola Bustamante along with French Ambassador Fabrice Mauriès signed on Tuesday night a declaration of intent to reinforce bilateral relations and boost exchanges towards a social-solidarity economy.

The signing ceremony was held within the framework of the Peru-France Economic Forum, which took place at Lima Convention Center.

The said declaration indicates that both parties are committed to promoting good practices for government management and information exchange on an inclusive-economic development basis.

It also boosts projects linked to cooperation, as well as technical assistance on public development policies with the aim of supporting social-solidarity economy, innovation and productive process development.

Likewise, the document includes experience exchange and strengthening of follow-up mechanisms, as well as control of social development policies.

The portfolio considers this agreement an opportunity to meet goals set by Peru.

The said official event was also attended by Peruvian President Ollanta Humala and French counterpart François Hollande, among businessmen from both nations.
