The Peruvian Government has expressed solidarity with the people and Government of Colombia over the wildfires registered in the neighboring country.
Via social media on Thursday night, the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Peru is preparing important assistance to be delivered in the next few hours, aimed at supporting operations to control said fires.
Media outlets reported that there are around 30 wildfires to date, which have destroyed thousands of hectares of vegetation and caused incessant concern for the well-being of families and animals that have been affected.
