Peru: Council of Ministers debates strengthening strategy to confront dengue

Chaired by President Dina Boluarte, the Council of Ministers on Wednesday debated the strengthening of the strategy to confront the dengue epidemic, through extraordinary measures in economic and financial matters.

This information was released by the Presidential Office on the X platform (formerly Twitter).

"The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte currently leads the Council of Ministers. At this new session, the draft urgency decree that dictates extraordinary measures in economic and financial matters is debated, which will strengthen the strategy to confront the dengue epidemic at the national level," the post reads.

Actions to reinforce the fight against citizen insecurity were also coordinated at the meeting.

The event saw the participation of Cabinet members led by Prime Minister Gustavo Adrianzen.

This session started at 9:00 a.m. It was the first held again on Wednesdays.
