Peru Consulate General inaugurates art exhibition in Canada

An art gallery was inaugurated at Peru's Consulate General in Toronto, within the framework of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Peru and Canada.

In this sense, the photographs taken by artists Marta Franco and Lilianne Schneider —who reside in the aforementioned city— were exhibited at the diplomatic facility.

On the occasion, the work of renowned photographer Martin Chambi was put on display for the first time after many years. 

The Consul Generals of Brazil, Chile, South Korea, and Mexico participated in the event. 

Representatives of Peruvian and Latin American community organizations, commerce chambers, press, and community members attended the inauguration as well. 

The inauguration took place on May 23.
