The Legislative Resolution of Congress No. 003-2021-2022-CR, published Saturday in the
Official Gazette El Peruano, made the ratification official.
Velarde was ratified in office by Congress' Permanent Commission in use of the powers indicated in article 101, subparagraph 2, of the Political Constitution, as well as article 93 of Congress Regulations.
Roxana Barrantes, Jose Tavara, and German Alarco were also appointed as board members.
