Peru Congress approves 2018 Public Sector Budget

The Peruvian Congress passed the Public Budget, Financial Balance and External Indebtedness Bill for the Fiscal Year 2018 during a plenary session held on Thursday afternoon.

The 2018 Public Budget Bill amounts to S/157.15 billion (about US$48.50 billion).

Such bill was developed to act as a catalyst for Peruvian economy and is also focused on decentralization.

As is known, today was the deadline for the Parliament to pass this bill.
