The Government of Peru on Thursday condemned the criminal act that resulted in the death of two members of the Israeli Embassy in Washington, D.C., United States.
The government agency also extended its sincere condolences and solidarity to the victims' families and expressed hope for the eradication of all hate crimes.
Last night, U.S. authorities reported the murder of a man and a woman, both employees of the Israeli Embassy, outside the Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C.

"Two Israeli Embassy staff were senselessly killed tonight near the Jewish Museum in Washington DC. We are actively investigating and working to get more information to share. Please pray for the families of the victims. We will bring this depraved perpetrator to justice," U.S. Homeland Security Secretary, Kristi Noem, said in a post on X.
According to the network NBC, an armed man shouted "Free Palestine" while being arrested in front of the aforementioned museum.
