The three BTS concerts in Lima are expected to generate a tourism impact of US$18.7 million in Peru, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) estimated on Friday.

In this context, Foreign Trade and Tourism Minister Rogers Valencia highlighted the dynamism of event tourism in Peru.

The Cabinet member indicated that the South Korean group's three concerts in Lima would generate US$18.7 million in tourism spending.

This would be driven by domestic and international visitors spending on accommodation, food, transportation, and other services.

He added that this result demonstrates the potential of major international events to attract visitors, extend their stays, and create opportunities for local businesses.
