Peru appoints new Ambassador to Greece

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has appointed diplomat Arturo Arciniega Calderon as new Peruvian Ambassador to the Hellenic Republic of Greece.

Said appointment was officialized by the government via Supreme Resolution No. 008-2024-RE, published in the Official Gazette El Peruano on Tuesday. 

The date on which the new envoy must take up duties will be set by ministerial resolution.

The aforementioned diplomat has served as General Director at the Protocol Office of the Presidency of the Republic.

End of duties

Supreme Resolution No. 007-2024-RE was also published in the Official Gazette El Peruano.

According to the document, the duties of Javier Yepez Verdeguer as Ambassador of Peru to Greece are terminated.

The duties of said diplomat as Peruvian envoy to Cyprus, Bulgaria, and Albania are terminated as well.

In all these cases, the date of termination of duties will also be established via ministerial resolution.
