The Peruvian Foreign Affairs Ministry has appointed Gustavo Antonio Otero Zapata and Esteban Massa Murazzi as Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Peru to the Kingdom of Norway and the Republic of Nicaragua, respectively.
Corresponding credentials and full powers have been issued to the diplomats as provided by the aforementioned documents.
A subsequent ministerial resolution will set the dates on which the new Ambassadors will officially take up their duties.
Both resolutions were signed by President Martin Vizcarra and Foreign Affairs Minister Gustavo Meza-Cuadra.
The Foreign Affairs Ministry has also announced the termination of services of Luis Salinas Montes as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Peru to the Kingdom of Norway and concurrent Ambassador to the Republic of Iceland.
Likewise, the document thanked him for the important services rendered to the nation.
