Peru and Venezuela see a draw at World Cup Qualifiers (2-2)

Peru's national adult soccer team managed to finally equalize the score against host Venezuela at Maturin Monumental Stadium on Thursday evening.

Venezuelan players Mikel Villanueva (24') and Romulo Otero (40') scored two goals in the first half of the game.

However —once the second half kicked off— a goal made by Andre Carrillo (46') helped Peruvians regain hope and show a better performance on the field.

Finally, a header by Paolo Guerrero hit the net, thus leading to the equalizing goal of the match (64').

At Qualifiers, Peru ranks 8th (15 points), whereas Venezuela remains at the bottom (6 points).

The Inca team will next face Uruguay in Lima on March 28.
