Peru's national soccer team and its Uruguayan counterpart tied 1-1 on Tuesday night in a friendly match held at National Stadium in Lima.
The Peruvian goal was scored by Christofer Gonzales, who headed the ball into the net in the 36th minute after a cross by Luis Advincula.
Afterwards, Uruguay's Darwin Nuñez tied the score with a header in the 79th minute.
As is known, the Incas sought revenge after last Friday's 1-0 defeat in Montevideo, but their efforts were not enough to secure the victory.
