Peruvian Ambassador to the United Kingdom Susana de la Puente is willing to cooperate with the Prosecutor's Office in order to help clarify Jorge Barata's statements regarding alleged contributions to the presidential campaign in 2011.
By means of a letter sent to Attorney General Pablo Sanchez, De la Puente reiterated her strong intention to contribute to the Prosecutor's Office.
"I express my entire willingness to appear before the Public Ministry and to do everything in my power to make pertinent clarifications," she stated.
De la Puente provided her two legal addresses in Peru and London (England) —where she currently resides— for notification purposes.
President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski last Thursday reaffirmed
he had not received any donation for his presidential campaign from Brazilian construction giant Odebrecht.
