Peru: 6,000 police members to reinforce citizenship security

Peruvian President Martin Vizcarra on Friday led the ceremony of entry into service of 6,000 police academy graduates, who will strengthen citizenship security nationwide.

Likewise, the first 208 all-terrain bikes —acquired by the Interior Ministry— were delivered to the National Police's (PNP) Traffic, Transport, and Road Security Directorate. 

On the occasion, the Head of State was joined by Interior Minister Carlos Moran. 

National Police Commander-General Jose Luis Lavalle participated in the event as well. 

The event was held on the Interior Ministry's esplanade in the city of Lima.
