Peru: 45% of target population received two doses of COVID-19 vaccine

The Ministry of Health (Minsa) has reported that 45% of the target population for COVID-19 vaccination in Peru has already received the two doses that prevent severe cases and death from the novel coronavirus.

So far, 29,469,461 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Peru. 

Out of that total, 12,698,200 were applied to second dose recipients, reaching 45% of the target population.

According to Minsa, the target population in Peru consists of men and women over 12 years of age, that is 28,024,250 people.
