The
Lima 2019 Organizing Committee announced that it sold more than 25,000 tickets on the first day of ticket sales for the 2019 Pan American Games, hitting a record high.
Organizers affirm there is great expectation surrounding some finals, as in the case of men's
basketball —to be played at Eduardo Dibos Coliseum in San Borja district— since tickets are about to be sold out.
To ensure that the highest international standards govern the sale of tickets and venue access control of events of such scale, the Lima 2019 Organizing Committee has chosen two world-leading partners like Teleticket and Ticketmaster.
The consortium of these two companies will guarantee world-class service and generate a great added value for the Games.
In the case of e-tickets, printing will no longer be necessary since customers can show their e-ticket from their mobile phones at the entrance of the sports venue.
Furthermore, it will be possible to buy tickets at all the competition venues on the same day of each
Lima 2019 event.
Discounts
The pricing policy aims to include everyone, so tickets for each official competition of Pan American sports events will range from S/20 (about US$6) for preliminary events, to S/30 (about US$9) for finals.
Tickets for the
Parapan American Games will start at S/10 (about US$3). In both cases, there will be a 50% discount for those under 18, seniors, and people with impairment.
People will also be able to attend the spectacular Lima 2019 Games Opening and Closing Ceremonies at the National Stadium starting at S/20 (about US$6).
As is known, the Pan American Games will take place from July 26 to August 11, and the Parapan American Games will be held from August 21 until September 1.
