This new batch landed at Jorge Chavez International Airport on Friday afternoon and was overseen by Minsa's Decentralization Department Director-General David Jumpa.
In addition, another batch of 236,400 doses from Sinopharm will land in Peru on October 31.
According to Minsa's figures, Peru has so far received over 49,391,000 doses from Pfizer, Sinopharm, and AstraZeneca.
Likewise, the official mentioned that the vaccination of teenagers aged 15-17 would begin this Saturday.
