Renowned actors Mel Gibson and John Lithgow were pleasantly surprised as they were given traditional nativity scenes (a.k.a. Retablos) from Andean Ayacucho region (Peru) during the presentation of their Christmas family film "Daddy's Home 2."

The U.S. stars had to answer one question about Peru in order to get their presents.

Both stressed they have heard about the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, but admitted they have not been there yet for different reasons.

"I know about Machu Picchu. I want to go [there]. I'm going to get a nosebleed if I go there," Gibson commented in an interview with Peruvian followers.

Lithgow, on the other hand, said: "That is on my bucket list. Machu Picchu, I will be there. My daughter has."

The talented artists looked surprised and compared each other's gifts as soon as they grabbed them: "Oh wow, cool! How beautiful! [Do] you have the same?"

"It will be our nativity scene in Daddy's Home 2. What a wonderful gift. It's my only present of the day," John Lithgow continued.

Finally, the two actors expressed their excitement for the upcoming movie's release.
