Russia's FC Lokomotiv Moscow announced the extension of Peruvian striker Jefferson Farfan's contract for the 2017/18 season.
Announcement was made by club President Ilya Gerkus.
The sportsman reached an agreement with the club's managers after joining Lokomotiv Moscow's preseason training sessions a few days ago.
The 32-year-old defended the team 8 times and scored 1 goal last season.
As is known, the Peruvian athlete was
signed by the Russian club in January 2017 after recovering from knee injury, which kept him off the fields for most of 2016.
It must be noted Lokomotiv Moscow won the Russian Cup last May.
On the other hand, Farfan has scored 22 goals defending Peru's national squad.
Previously, he played for Al-Jazira Sporting Club (United Arab Emirates), FC Schalke 04 (Germany), PSV Eindhoven (The Netherlands) and Alianza Lima (Peru).
