Lima 2019: Peru's Gian Marco to perform at closing ceremony

Peruvian singer Gian Marco will perform at the closing ceremony of Lima 2019 Pan American Games on August 11 at the National Stadium, Lima 2019 Organizing Committee informed Wednesday.

The musician requested citizens to be part of the ceremony, which will reaffirm Peru as the epicenter of sports, as well as pay homage to the talent of the athletes who will have participated in the event, within the framework of an integration environment among the Americas' cultures.

"I want to invite you to the closing ceremony of the Lima 2019 Pan American Games. I will be singing and celebrating Peru to commemorate this great sports celebration. Let's all play in Lima 2019!" the singer expressed.

Gian Marco has an artistic career of over 20 years in Peru and abroad.

It should be noted Balich Worldwide Shows will be in charge of the closing ceremony.

As is known, it also created and produced the opening ceremony for the Lima 2019 Pan American Games and will produce that of the Parapan American Games to be held on August 23 - September 1.
