Peruvian tennis players Sergio Galdos and Juan Pablo Varillas on Saturday won a bronze medal at
Lima 2019 Pan American Games.
The duo competed in the men's doubles bronze medal match, defeating Bolivia 2-1.
Peru won the first set (6-3). The second set was dominated by Bolivia's Arias and Zevallos (6-3).
In the super tie-break (up to 10 points), Bolivia was winning 8-6; however, the Peruvian duo, supported by the fans at all times, won 12-10.
The tight clash took place at Lawn Tennis Club in Miraflores district.
This was Peru's 15th medal at Lima 2019 Pan American Games.
