Additionally, 13 sports will be qualifiers for Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
The Peruvian delegation will be composed of 139 Para athletes who will compete in 16 of the 17 sports.
The majority of Inca country's representatives will play in sitting volleyball and wheelchair basketball (24 participants in each one).
The rest will compete in boccia (4), football 5 (10), football 7 (14), goalball (12), judo (1), para athletics (14), para badminton (10), para cycling (2), para swimming (4), para powerlifting (4), para taekwondo (4), para table tennis (4), wheelchair tennis (5), and shooting para sport (3).
Furthermore, many sportspeople belong to the IPD's Athlete Support Program (PAD) and Top Peru.
The para athletes who are part of Top Peru are Pilar Juaregui, Pedro Pablo de Vinatea, and Jesus Salva (para badminton), as well as Dunia Felices (para swimming), Efrain Sotacuro (para athletics), Niel Garcia (para powerlifting), and Israel Hilario (para cycling).
