inPERU to promote financial investment while in the U.S.

12:46 | Lima, Sep. 6.

inPERU's coming road show will focus on promoting financial investment in the South American country, the association's chairman Francis Stenning affirmed.

"The expectations are very positive. There is a lot of interest (from foreign investors) (…)," the officer told Andina news agency.

inPERU is a non-profit Peruvian association founded by the main business organizations of the Inca market.

The public-private association has confirmed a visit to New York City for September 13-14, 2018.

The delegation will be led by Economy and Finance Minister Carlos Oliva, as well as Central Reserve Bank (BCR) Governor Julio Velarde.

According to Stenning, topics related to fixed income and debt —a market Peru has been actively involved in— are of great interest.

"(…) Appointments have been made, even with groups linked to direct investment," he stated.

Financial center

New York City is essentially a financial center due to its investors' profiles.

Stenning went on to add a meeting with Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) officers is also on the road show agenda.
