Peruvian cuisine has a new ambassadorial spot at Copacabana Beach, one of Rio de Janeiro's top areas.
It is Inka Restobar, the first Peruvian restaurant inaugurated in such zone.
The eatery was created by Peruvian entrepreneur Miguel Molinero, who has been residing in the well-known Brazilian city for many years.
It must be noted Copacabana Beach —belonging to the south zone of Rio de Janeiro— is one of the most popular places in the Brazilian country.
"There are top-level Peruvian restaurants, but this is the first time one has opened in the most sought-after area located in this metropolis," Molinero said.
The businessman expects the restaurant to become the Peruvian reference point at such beach, where the main traditional dishes will be served to foodies.
The opening event saw the presence of Peruvian residents based in Rio de Janeiro, headed by Consul-General Hugo Flores.
The ceremony drew the attention of local media, as Peruvian cuisine is highly-valued in such country.
