and Indian Ambassador to Peru Mandarapu Subbarayudu participated in the delivery ceremony of more than 1.4 million medicine units and protective equipment donated by the Asian country to strengthen the fight against COVID19.
"We are grateful for this gesture of collaboration from the people of India, a country that, like Peru, is suffering. Nonetheless, it has the capacity to organize its health system and the production of supplies related to medicines," she expressed.
Likewise, the Cabinet member announced that both nations will begin a joint work to revalue traditional Peruvian medicine.
The objective is for the therapies used by communities and natural inputs to join the fight against COVID-19.
The event took place on Friday at the headquarters of the Health Ministry.
