Mandatory social immobility (curfew) in Lima and Callao will remain unchanged from 2 a.m. to 4 a.m. until November 28 after their Moderate Alert Level for COVID-19 has been ratified, according to a regulation published on Sunday in the official gazette
El Peruano.
As provided by
Supreme Decree No.168-2021-PCM, all provinces in the country will observe the same curfew hours, except for Viru, Huaura, Mariscal Nieto, Morropon, Sullana, Moyobamba, and Chincha, which have been placed into the 'high' alert level.
Thus, the mandatory social immobility (curfew) in the above-mentioned provinces will be in place Monday-Sunday from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.
According to the decree, in provinces under moderate alert level, such as Lima, economic activities shall comply with the following capacity limits:
- Activities in closed spaces:
Malls, shopping arcades, department stores, shops in general, and conglomerates: 80%
Stores selling necessities, supermarkets, markets, bodegas, and pharmacies: 80%
Restaurants and related facilities, whose customer service areas (lounge, bar and waiting room) total less than 200 square meters in inner areas: 80%
Restaurants and related facilities, whose customer service areas (lounge, bar and waiting room) total 200 square meters or above in inner areas: 100%
Casinos and slot machine halls: 50%
Movie theaters and locations for performing arts: 80%
Banks and other financial entities: 80%
Temples and religious sites: 80%
Libraries, museums, cultural centers, and art galleries: 80%
Sports associations facilities and clubs (contact sports): 80%
Sports associations facilities and clubs (non-contact sports): 80%
Business and professional events: 80%
Hairdressing salons and barbershops: 60%
Spas, Turkish baths, saunas, thermal baths: 60%
Coliseums (people vaccinated with two doses): 40%
Gyms: 60%
- Activities in open spaces (observance of capacity limits and protocols required, subject to local governments' authorization):

Restaurants and related facilities in open-air places
Protected natural areas, botanical gardens, archaeological monuments or sites, open-air museums and zoos
