Chinese company Alibaba donates 100,000 face masks to Peru Government

The Peruvian Government thanked the Chinese company Alibaba Group for the donation of 100,000 face masks, 20,000 molecular diagnostic tests for COVID-19 and 5 respirators, Peru's Foreign Affairs Ministry has reported.

The donation —delivered to the Health Ministry— was managed by the Chinese Embassy in Lima and relied on the support of the Foreign Affairs Ministry, as well as the Peruvian Agency for International Cooperation (APCI).

Jack Ma —founder of the Alibaba Group and the Jack Ma Foundation— had highlighted that he would donate emergency supplies to 24 countries in Latin America, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Cuba, Ecuador, the Dominican Republic, and Peru.

Alibaba is a company dedicated to e-commerce.
