The President of the Plurinational State of Bolivia,
Luis Arce Catacora, on Monday arrived in Lima to participate in the XXII Andean Presidential Council, in which Peru will assume the Pro-Tempore Presidency of the Andean Community (CAN) for the 2022-2023 period.
After getting off the Bolivian Air Force aircraft, Mr. Arce received the corresponding honors.
With his arrival, all the Heads of State members of the CAN are present to attend the meeting.
The Peruvian Head of state, Pedro Castillo, today will receive the Pro-Tempore Presidency from his Ecuadorian counterpart, Guillermo Lasso.

Andean Community is an integration mechanism currently comprising Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru.
