Last November, 12-month inflation expectations among economic analysts and the financial system decreased to 2.16%, the Central Reserve Bank (BCR) reported.

Thus, 12-month inflation expectations remain within the target range, consolidating confidence that inflation will continue to be anchored at low and predictable levels.

Similarly, all economic agents kept their inflation forecasts within the target range for 2025, 2026, and 2027 last November.

"Inflation expectations for 2025 continued to be revised downward, reaching a range of 1.65% to 2% following adjustments by economic analysts and the financial system," the BCR indicated.

"For 2026, agents expect inflation to be within a range of 2.20% to 2.25%, while it is projected to be between 2.15% and 2.30% for 2027," it added.

Regarding this year, economic analysts lowered their inflation forecast from 1.90% to 1.65% between October and November.

In turn, the financial system revised it down from 1.90% to 1.85% over the same period.

Non-financial entities kept theirs at 2%.
